I don't care what anybody says... that was worse than Shaun Livingston, imo. What are we putting in these kid's food? That's supposed to be the strongest part of the leg. Players been having injuries, that looks like the basketball post seems a little close? not sure just fucked up

I haven't seen anything like that since the Joe Thiesman (sp.) injury. VERY sad. I hope PG is able to come back from it. He is a class act and a great player. Lattimore?

He done for year. So are Pacers Done for the year? That's probably it for his career as a A/B player. He'll be like Danny granger now. I know the pacers are PISSED!!!

Complete breaking of the bone, plus tearing of cartilage / skin around it... Gotta be some nerve damage there. Not sure he can ever move his feet the same after that. Can he ever play again? Maybe... but probably not at the same level imo.

He'll come back. He'll be close to how he was before the injury.

Sucks for the Pacers. This could have been their year. At least in the East..

He'll come back. He'll be close to how he was before the injury. Well, if Greg Oden can come back, then anybody can potentially "come back"... but let's not kid ourselves, it will be a LONG time before we see that dude on the court again or playing anywhere near his pre-injury level. This isn't a minor stress fracture... The guy's leg damn near came off his body entirely.

Players been having injuries, that looks like the basketball post seems a little close? not sure just fucked up I also noticed that The stanchion was measured 3 feet 11 inches away from the court. The NBA MINIMUM length away from court for stanchions is 4 feet. So the stanchion was 1 inch short of the NBA minimum. Was it too close? By NBA standards it was.

4 is the minimum but what's the average in the nba?

Good question. 4 is minimum but I'd have it back at least 5 feet to give room for top speed transition plays if it was my team. The stanchions are nice for stopping momentum but not if too close.

That thing was way too close.

If it was further away what happens after that play? He probably goes stumbling into it rather than planting his foot there imo

If you watch the video in slow motion you can clearly see his foot lands at an angle ON the bottom of the stanchion. Would end up as an open break injury in the same spot of the leg for anybody. If the stanchion is just 6 inches further back, probably nothing happens after that play.
