Defense built the lead on all their TO's. The lucky bounce after their forced fumble for a colts TD was a back breaker, but with all their injuries and losing the best player on the field they still had a huge lead in the 2nd half and couldn't move the chains to use the clock. Couple more first downs and it's over Can't excuse giving up 5 second half TD's. That was all on the defense. They made no adjustments and Luck owned them. Defense got the lead but injuries just caught up to team and QB couldn't stop the bleeding. 1 decent drive and KC wins

Injury after injury and defense was getting worn out after offense refused to stay on the field game was put in Alex Smith's hands. How'd that work?

1 stop by the defense and KC wins the game. Goes both ways... Injury after injury and defense was getting worn out after offense refused to stay on the field game was put in Alex Smith's hands. How'd that work? 30-46 for 378 yards and 4 TDs, 57 yards rushing, no INTs, 1 fumble. I would say that worked pretty well. Running game (even with 2 injuries) managed 150 yards to Indy's 100. The loss is on the Chiefs defense. 45 points allowed in a playoff game? Terrible.

You have the game manager and 1-2 more first down wins it. Injuries killed KC defense. Offense missed top player as well, but with all those injuries to the defense it was time to play the clock. Ball was put in Smith's hands to win it. He failed. Be interested to know what his 2nd half stats were. Defense propped him up in the first half by destroying luck. Smith picked up the pieces.

They were horrible controlling the clock because they were down to their 3rd RB of the day. They had also lost their #2 receiver in Avery.

Davis didn't go down until the 4th quarter. KC wasn't managing the clock well before that
