They’d have to rebuild the roster from top to bottom + coach with the intention to beat Denver. No shot at that while capped out. DLo probably opts out and walks. Lakers are in a pickle. They will not do a full blow up. They will say they missed Vando, so let's run it back and hope for better health. With the performances of the others the last 3 games they don't have any real trade value. They will have to add 1 to 3 1st round picks to sweeten deals. Nah, I don’t think even Jeanie / Rob are that delusional that they’ll blame this years failure on Jarred Vanderbilt. I think you could make that argument if you take Denver to 7 games and come up short or advanced and come up short later. But first round sweep is abject failure that requires a new approach.

DLo probably opts out and walks. so it's that or blow it up and rebuild while the Pelicans probably have next years pick. they probably run Lebron/AD back one more time. Lakers problem is they have all these players that do 1 or 2 things really well but plenty of other things really bad. I think this years loss sets in on Lebron differently than last year. He came back this season truly believing he could take another stab, with better health and have a shot. He knows now he doesn’t. So if he only has 1 more season in his storied career why would he sign up to do that on a team that has no shot at winning? I expect him to push his way out come July. And then AD to follow.

as far as I am concerned the Lakers need 4 types of players the first one is just best described as Alex Caruso, I don't know how else to say it. the KCP/Danny Green type. a 6'5-6'6 guard to can make space the floor and make shots and play defense a big athletic wing. 6'8 or 6'9 ish guy who can defend, rebound and be able to hit outside shots, Kyle Kuzma sure could've maybe worked. A big man who can bang down low, do the dirty work, get rebounds and block the occasional shot
Oh god I want to cry just knowing we gave away like all of the players we needed that could've helped us beat them. Lakers can afford to keep one of Reaves and D'lo, there just can't be more than one of those types on the team. I'd shop all of Rui, Vanderbilt, and Vincent. of course none of what I just said is realistic. no one out there is willing to help the Lakers.

And if you go back and look at what I said literally in the thread where we were all talking about the summer moves I said: “Eventually we will realize we need a player exactly like him in order to win.” I stand by that assessment and know that if he were still on our team now we’d have had a chance.

DLo 0pts 0/7 FGs
He has an option with his contract. He can opt in for like 18mil or opt out. But will anybody pay him more than that after seeing him shit the bed?

Because he’d accept a decent long term deal, even if that’s eventually full NTPMLE. We know now he can’t be a main wheel but he’s a shooter and it’s a shooters league. Someone will give him a deal imo.

Nuggets were +1 "underdogs" Did you do this through Draftkings, Fanduel, or some other loca/regional gambling site where you live? Thinking about putting down a wager myself.....lol.

Game 3 was a good opportunity imo because it was only 2-0 and first Lakers game at home. Now everyone knows Lakers are pretty much dead in the water. In TN I think it's 100% legal, could just use draftkings, fanduel, or betmgm. Whichever one has the best promo going.

He looked completely checked out on the sideline after getting benched, sitting on the bench 5ft away from any of the coaches and players during timeouts (even bench players and street clothes players were nowhere near him).

I don't have the kind of vitriol I had for him back in 2014, but seeing him put up a donut and then completely check out of the game like that. I don't want that clown back on this team and I don't care how good of a shooter he is. These kinds of things eat at your team culture and I don't want that kind of attitude in the Laker locker room.
