Good to see everyone, including Rocket players, paying their respects to Randle as he was carried off the floor last night..... well... ...except for one guy. Can you guess who? Harden the master flopper (of all people) is showing respect. Ariza is front and center. Other rockets showing respect. But for some reason, that one guy in the background just can't be bothered... But hey, maybe it's just a coincidence.

He may have already spoken to him or was about to. A picture doesn't usually tell the entire story

Could definitively be a coincidence that his back is turned there.... but just seems like his style not to pay attention during a serious incident. Anybody else, I'd probably give the benefit of a doubt.

Could care less.
He's a Rocket, not a Laker. Laker players around him is all that should matter.

He may have already spoken to him or was about to. A picture doesn't usually tell the entire story Nah, T, the picture tells the story. The LIVE video feed told the story as well. No, Dwight didn't speak to him and didn't come anywhere near him from the time of the injury until he was carted to the locker room. Dwight was on the bench when it happened. Of course, he's not on our team and had just gotten into it with Kobe a few minutes prior and probably didn't want to come anywhere near Kobe as Kobe was consoling Randle. Thanks for posting, LDG.

The stern veto felt like a bad dream. Sort of like last night when Randle went down. Been a long nightmare

I had the game last night all DVR'd and ready to be watched when I got home from work this afternoon. Then, even though I tried to avoid reading anything about the results of the game, I could not help but catch wind of this horrible incident. It just plain sucks....really does. I immediately deleted my DVR recording. I guess it's time to bring Earl Clark back. Nonetheless, young Julius will come back from this and he will be in my thoughts and prayers. As for the Lakers and this season, well, we may have a shot at keeping our top 5 protected pick (though I doubt that will happen). If we do; however, we should sign Emeka Okafor soon and then draft the OTHER Okafor once he declares after his freshman year. With our luck, though, we'll probably finish with the 6th worst record at the end of the season.

No prob.
But I agree with you in that I would infer that Dwight probably didn't want to be around Kobe and understandably so.
