Yeah, I know their starting pitching (aside from Kershaw) has been pretty mediocre (to put it politely), though Maeda and even Urias have shown flashes, but it is our "offense" that sucks. Should they try to get Braun? Bruce? I am glad they finally realized Crawford is toast and are giving Klay's brother a chance to play regularly....now they need to do the same with Puig. Trade his ass....he will never reach his so called "potential". Even when Ethier returns, our offense will remain anemic. Any Dodger fans out there with any thoughts on the matter? I realize the new regime is not into the blockbuster kind of deal, but something needs to be done. Being that I live on the East Coast, I don't get a chance to see them play much. Basketball speculation is kind of worthless at the moment, so let's talk some baseball (I won't even bring up the Angels....I knew they would suck even before the season started...no pitching -- especially without Richards).

Dodgers just need starting pitchers to get healthy and the vet hitters to progress to the mean. Guys like Kendricks, Gonzalez, Grandal and hopefully Puig should get back to their average seasons at least, which would be a big help to the kids who are carrying the team. Getting Ryu and McCarthy back should stabilize the rotation as well.
Not sure what kind of trade can be made, as the FO has been resistant to trading top prospects.

Wait a couple years until the young guys and specs come up and develop because they aren't gonna do anything else. Rotation headlined by Kershaw, Urias, DeLeon, maybe Maeda, Ryu, Alvarez and Buehler and Holmes and I'm forgetting a bunch. Back of the pen headlined by Montas, Cotton, and new pick Jordan Sheffield. Verdugo and Bellinger can come up and pair them with Joc, Corey, Thompson, and hopefully Puig stops sucking. This is the future of the Dodgers.
