Resting ankle. I know this will make some fans mad but I can never be mad at an unparalleled athlete playing at the highest level in pro sport’s history at his age.
We need wins but perhaps Lebron knows we will likely lose this game with or without him.
Here’s to hoping the shooters come to shoot tonight.

we about to hold up an L. Prince is taking the most shots. Offense not organized at all. Lakers got the breaks beaten off them in the first quarter because of such bad offense

Lakers got the breaks beaten off them in the first quarter because of such bad offense The Milwaukee defense was prepared for what we wanted to do offensively and executed to shut it down. Have to continue to make adjustments against it. But yeah Prince’s biggest problem imo is that when he makes the decision to put the ball on the floor 9/10 times he’s going to shoot the ball and doesn’t have the filter to ad lib a better play. Ham loves his ass because he “plays ready” as one quote a while back showed. I agree he does have a ready attitude and approach but his mistakes far outweigh his readiness.

this 3 guard lineup is not it. Reaves and D'lo won't stop taking bad shots

Good news for the back to back LeBron most likely plays, so he should be fresh. Team showed some serious guts tonight.

Best win of the season. I know we’ve had a few best wins of the season already but this one was big.
I missed most of the game but caught the end of the 4th and the OTs.
AR was huge. AD toughed it out and played big too.

Mama mia! Down by 19 with 8mins left in the 4th and they come back to win on the road without Lebron. AR almost won that game at the buzzer at the end of the 4th. That 3pt shot was half way down!! He was an absolute killer. DLo hit those 2 clutch FTs to tie the game again near the end of the 1st OT. Rui was awesome as well. Some strong takes to the rack! AD was huge. Hit three clutch 3 pointers and that last one bounced around like 3 times before dropping thru He blocked Lillards game winning attempt at the end of the first OT as well and then iced the game with 2 clutch FTs. Dinwiddie had a tough night but finally hit a big 3 late in the game. Big win.

Also big shout-out to Malik Beasley for bricking all those open 3s for us down the stretch. Vintage. That was big time!!

Dame, Beasley and Middleton. The Lakers fixed teams targeting Reaves and D'Lo constantly. Having Rui's size along with AD they have more size to help if guys get past D'Lo or Reaves. If Vando gets back in time Lakers will be in good shape.

I’d even add Brook Lopez to that list in the sense that he cannot switch defensively and keep the flow of your defense moving. He’s a big force in the paint with the (fading) ability to still block shots and hold his ground but that type of defense is becoming less and less important in todays game. That’s why Doc was forced to take him out throughout the OT and 4th during key moments of the game. But Beasley is definitely 1st rate trash on defense with Lillard not too far behind. Middleton is slightly better only because he’s a little more fundamentally sound and better sized but he’s faded fast over of the years. All 3 are definitely liabilities which is why it was laughable they fired their coach over defensive deficiencies. I think Lillard ends up this generation’s Karl Malone / Barkley / Carmelo. Generational talent who could never win a championship. I’d have sympathy if I didn’t know that he told AD and Lebron to go pound sand in 2021. He stayed “loyal” to a team that drafted his replacement the second they could. Lol

AD toughed it out and played big too. Agreed, this was the best win. Their win in Boston was the 2nd best win of the season. The difference is that even though the Lakers beat a better team in Boston without Lebron on the road, they were competitive all game long and pretty much held their own the entire game. You felt pretty good they had a very good chance of winning that game from the opening tip. This game on the other hand, was looking like a loss in a beatdown fashion all game long being down 19 points in the 4th quarter. The way they turned it on in the last 8 minutes was incredible. AR, D'Lo, AD, and Rui were huge in this game. This was by far the best game of the season imo.

Lol If they wanted to fire someone over the defensive deficiencies, it should've been whomever green-lit the Dame trade. Jrue may not fix all of the issues, but he would certainly help.

I am a bit worried about tired legs tonight though. Only Lebron and the bench will be fresh. AD had 52 minutes, DLo 50 and Reaves 48.

Would be nice if AD could just suit up and play defense and kinda be a decoy on offense if he needs a little break in usage. We'll see. I won't fault him if he sits as he has played like 96 out of the last 100 games for us with very few stinkers. I don't have much faith in our defense without him but never know I suppose. Did beat Boston without him and Lebron.
