In my opinion...
West
1. Lakers 2. Okc 3. Clippers
East
1. Heat 2. Bulls 3. Pacers
Something tells me that our evil stepbrother will do well this Season... especially with a healthy Billups, rejuvenated Odom, and veteran leadership in Grant Hill. They even picked up a team support player/mascot in Turiaf. Not a bad offseason at all.

Bulls #2 with Rose out until march? Didn't they get beat by an 8 seed without Rose?

Playoffs came around and all bets were off at that point though. Didn't know Rose was out until March though. Last report I read claimed that he was "ahead of schedule". I was thinking Late December or January return.

Last report I saw was less than a week ago and it had him 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule which put his return as soon as March 2013

I'd probably drop them down to #3 if that's the case. Was thinking it would be close if D-Rose could give them a boost earlier in the season... but March is pretty late. Also won't be in "elite" nba game shape at that point either, while most other players will be.

I just can't respect Brooklyn yet... Frontline of Brook Lopez / Humphries ugh. They've got a few decent pieces. As for Boston, I don't know. I think they will cruise through the season at #4 and then try to turn it up in the playoffs. Seems like those green cockroaches never die though.

Brooklyn has an all star team though I'd rank Lopez 5th. They are very solid 1-3. Humphries is a douche but a double/double guy. Lopez is extremely soft but the Eastern conference has no bigs and little competition. East 2 and 3 were more by default. Chicago should be ok with Hinrich back but I think they'll struggle knowing Rose is gone and no backcourt with a injury likely to occur to their frontline 50 wins could get 3rd seed
