It's laughable that critics are even comparing the two, imo... but over the last few weeks, I've seen several headlines claiming that he has now over-taken Lebron as the biggest villain in the NBA and will have to work just as hard to "restore" his image. Pfft... Give it a rest.
One guy left his team after giving them PLENTY of warning and options in the process. I thought his intentions were pretty clear from the beginning and only a fool (Orlando fans) thought he was going to stay for much longer. He gave his team more than enough time to make a trade and get something back in return...
The other guy left town like a thief in the night. Ripped off his jersey at the end of a game, threw it into the audience and jumped on the first plane to South Beach. Cav fans didn't even know where he was, until they turned on ESPN and saw that joker sitting by the ocean, building a sand castle.
How are these two things even comparable?

Both forced trades and could have handled the situations better. I thought it was obvious LeBron was leaving Cleveland but the biggest differences is LeBron had the freedom to choose as a FA and Dwight was still under contract, LeBron was an Ohio boy born and raised, and the biggest of all he had a freaking TV special announcing the "decision"
That was in poor taste. Less backlash IMO without the TV special

Anyone who thinks Dwight will leave LA is delusional. Move away from the spotlight of LA where he can get the max deal he wants and the endorsements and the movie contracts. Nah he is not going anywhere.
