Cuomo has done nothing illegal. He made a poor decision relying on nursing homes to care for the elderly during the onset of COVID. That may speak more to the lack of quality nursing home care than anything else, but he should've known that. With the NYC hospitals overflowing and refrigerator trucks collecting the deceased, he made a rash decision. Whether or not he later under-reported the nursing home death counts (or was given bad information), that just looks bad and isn't really an impact on anyone's lives. The losses are what they are, whether or not the count is reported correctly or not. Equating Trump and Cuomo is ridiculous. I didn’t equate them. They are not equal. One is a former President and one will be a former Governor. Everyone is a future former. If this little shit ends his run, that's pretty pathetic.

Re: Popovich goin full gangsta...
Today Popovich rightfully called Texas Governor “ignorant” for lifting all Covid restrictions and eliminating the mask mandate.
As if we needed any more proof of how utterly fucking stupid Republicans are, today we see there is no level they are not willing to sink to. Make no mistake about this, it is a 100% POLITICAL MOVE. A move of continued belligerence, because these fucks have nothing to offer policy wise so they placate to their supporters with inciting foul rhetoric that pits American against American. THAT is their platform and that is why I say FUCK ALL REPUBLICANS.

They might but this is definitely classified as political theater, not actual politics. More salacious, sensationalist fluff to sell papers, make sound bites, go viral, etc. Re: how the media ‘sells’ as a manifestation of capitalism.

I'm not defending Cuomo at all. He's creepy personified. But this also feels like traditional Dem self-immolation whereas the Reps defend the indefensible for the sake of political gain. That is why the Reps seem to always get what they want.
This is a preemptive attack by key Dems to prevent Cuomo from even thinking about higher elected office.
And, I am not a fan of Kristen Gillebrand and her agenda. She destroyed Al Franken's political career for nothing more than a prank photo that wasn't malicious in any way, shape or form while a real criminal sexual offender becomes POTUS and is still getting his rear end kissed. Al Franken could have really made a difference.
There is a "gone too far" in all this.

Read what is reported and it sounds like he's shooting the shit with co-workers, not aggressively pursuing anyone in at least one of those cases. Cancel culture is getting out of whack; any of us that have watched a sexual harassment video at work know that there is the opportunity to say please stop before someone gets blown up, publicly shamed and forced out of their career.

This guy was Nation of Islam. I don’t know if he was a Trumper or not. He followed Farrakhan. Troubled and suicidal too. I would think it was suicide by police other than the fact he was from Indiana. Why travel to DC?

For those who buy into the "keep politics out of sports" and the "shut up and dribble" argument I challenge you to listen to this segment on Undisputed. Shannon Sharpe nails it and although I'm not a Skip Bayless fan in general, I generally agree with his take on social issues. Listen to the entire 11 minute segment and don't turn it off the second you hear something you don't agree with. Shannon sums up EXACTLY why athletes are kneeling and speaking out against social injustices. This was in response to what Brett Favre said about social injustices and sports. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF4_WybtGkU

Brett Favre can suck a cheesehead. While I think Shannon’s takes are astute and pertinent I also think that there is only 1 way to address this issue: “I am an American, it is my 1st amendment protected right to speak my voice, shut the fuck up.”

If one set of people says exactly what you said above, it's ok because they're just being good "patriots". But when a different set of people say the same thing about issues affecting them as Americans, then they get labeled as "liberals", "communists", "marxists", "socialists", you can fill in the blank.....etc. As Shannon said, to some people, social justice issues are political because it DOESN'T AFFECT THEM. So conflating it to politics shields them from acknowledging their own guilt about how they think about people or absolves them from asking themselves some tough questions about why they believe what they believe. But to those on the receiving end of injustice, it has nothing to do with politics, it's an issue of right and wrong. Period.

He was definitely right about the way cuckservatives allow their ideological masters to dictate who can say what and when while labeling their side “patriotic” etc. And I’m glad he said it. But if Brett Favre or anyone said what they did to me my answer would be that it is my 1st amendment right to speak out and because of that it will not stop. Talking heads like Laura Ingraham tried to shush Lebron a few years back because she does not want class consciousness to take form. No other reason. But she has no legitimate response as to why a fully free American should have to curb their Constitutional right.

There are 3 more defendants. Those will be harder, but they all need to be punished.
