Mitch McConnell and 25 Senate Republicans congratulate Nancy Pelosi on her visit to Taiwan. Said McConnell “Speaker Pelosi was right.” When Mitch McConnell supports you, you can bet your ass you’re doing the wrong thing. These gestures between parties illustrate the common thread of “the party.” Lol that guy is pure evil. Yup pelosi screwed up alright

How old is McConnell? Like 1000 years old?
I wonder how much blood he’s sucked out of people to stay alive so long.

I did not read Pelosi’s op-ed in the Washington Post because it’s behind a paywall but I caught a snippet of her bullshit editorial but she can suck my left nut if she think SHE is the one who decides we go to war with China over her business interests. There is a United Nations Resolution regarding Taiwan, one that recognizes it to be apart of China, not an independent nation. How China elects to handle this relationship will largely determine geopolitical politics for a generation, affecting everything from global supply chains to climate crisis aversion / collapse. The Speaker of the House does not get to decide if we go to war, she is elected to represent the will of the people and all she is doing is politicking, attempting to build that contempt within our border so she be apart of the unified Republicrat Party that will shift our endless wars over to Asia. She went on to characterize the situation as one of autocrats vs democracy” at a time when democracy itself is a sham way to describe America’s undemocractic system, where less than half of citizens vote, tens of millions are restricted and now, a frail system currently under threat from an autocrat in the US. Address that before you go around trumpeting America’s “democracy” Nancy. And suck my right nut too. Fkin ridiculous. The great American democracy is hanging by a thread and this idiot is processing democracy in Taiwan. What a joke. Nvidia Nancy and husband who got away with dui are pushing the world to the brink of war. This shit is out of control. Suck away Nancy.

Maybe I missed you posting about it Sammy but I’m surprised you didn’t mention Biden catching Covid, recovered from onset symptoms then went back to business then got hit with a rebound case. This matters because it exposes the illogic wildly irresponsible “new normal” that’s been permitted under life with Covid. If you follow Biden’s CDC advise you could return to normal after 5 days and not worry about transmitting the virus. Only, scientists are discovering that roughly 25-30% of people who follow that advise are actually still infectious. America, the beautiful. Yeah, the good news is that he's asymptomatic, but that's ultimately the bad news too. This is still getting spread due to bad information and a rush to normalcy.

His symptoms returned and continues to test positive for nearly two weeks while CDC guidance indicates 5 days isolation. If that ain't hypocrisy I don't know what is. Delta Airlines CEO calls the shots in public health. 🖕 The Democratic party and no I don't care how much worst the other side is.

More Democrat idiocy. Great job selfish personal and business interests pelosi with no reourcussions for her DUI busted husband. She's the epitomy of disgusting politics.
China fired multiple missiles near Taiwan on Thursday in its biggest ever military drills in the Taiwan Strait, a day after U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited the self-ruled island.
The exercises began at midday and included live-firing waters to the north, south and east of Taiwan, which Beijing claims as its own. They brought volatility in the area to its worst in a quarter century.
Taiwan's defence ministry said 11 Chinese Dongfeng ballistic missiles had been fired in waters around the island. The last time that happened was in 1996.

Pretty ignorant statement. 1) I didn’t hear you complaining when Lindsay Graham visited earlier in the year. 2) seems Pelosi’s visit has bipartisan support, which as you know is nonexistent these days. 3) We have strong business interests in Taiwan and the risk of what would happen if China were to overtake them would be huge as it relates to semiconductors alone. We will be comprised enormously. 4) I thought the Dems were “snowflakes”? Your post sounds a bit “snowflakey” to me. But hey, I still think you’re a good guy.

I’m not sure why you Fanofish decided to come onto the thread and flame it the way you did but I can only deduct that it’s actually you who melted down and got triggered by what Sam said. In 2022 it’s so en vogue to accuse your adversaries of what you’re guilty of doing. To me, we should all be looking at this situation with close eyes and open minds, with a willingness to listen, hear each other out and come closer to a rational point of view. It should not be the time to shout political propaganda at one another while calling the other an idiot for not buying the same brand of propaganda. Does Taiwan supply the world with semiconductors? Yup. Does China “overtaking” Taiwan change that? Not necessarily, I’ve never read in over a decade of research on the subject that China would in effect shut down the semiconductor business out of Taiwan. Why would they? It’s big business. Of course, if China decides to dissolve the Taiwanese government, it would alter business arrangements in Taiwan but it’s not as though business arrangements don’t already exist with the Chinese government. We have more deals within the country of China than anywhere else in the world, so no problem there. And of course we’ve known that China is legally entitled to the island of Taiwan, since 1971 in fact. Things have changed considerably in the world since the 70s, especially so in the say, 15 years. Why haven’t we, the United States done more to develop and manufacture semiconductors here, knowing that one day Taiwan won’t be the resource it’s been for decades? Wouldn’t that be pragmatic? Congress just authorized legislation to do just that literally last month. It took decades for the clown show to put 2 + 2 together but at least some level of consciousness has taken hold. Japan and Korea have also similarly stepped up semiconductor business. Fuck Nancy Pelosi, that lip injected profiteer and her war mongering rhetoric. Celebrating “bipartisan support” in a decayed corrupt system is like celebrating mafia families working together to control illicit supply chains. Congress cannot garner bipartisan support to provide healthcare, education or housing but OMG look at them guys! They both support war! Lol Like Iraq? Like Afghanistan? Total disasters, waste of trillions of dollars, millions of lives and both countries in worse shape now than before our invasion. But it had bipartisan support. China? Whole different animal and all the semiconductors in the world aren’t worth World War 3. If anyone thinks that they are I would argue that is the very essence of insanity and delusion.

The irony is that you are the king of political propaganda as referenced in the many posts on this thread alone that reflect that and the fact that this thread is all about politics. smh I get it. You just can’t help yourself and it’s very typical of you. The silliness behind the thought that a visit from Pelosi, whether you like her or despise her, to a country that we have massive amounts of trade with is going to cause WW3 is insane. China flexing its muscles by flyovers and missiles is nothing new. It happens constantly in the recent past. But to the point, if you don’t recognize what China having control over Taiwan does to us from a national security standpoint, I really can’t help you. The statement about “all the semiconductors in the world” is ignorant and uninformed. I really think you should educate yourself on what semiconductors actually do. And completely disregarding the rare bipartisan support is crazy. But a couple of guys named History2B and Sam Adams on a Lakers board know better. lmao Um, I’ve got news for you. We won’t be the ones that start WW3. China owns trillions of our debt. They are enormous trade partners with us. Do you think they are stupid enough to put all of those assets at risk? What do you think would happen to those assets in the event of a war with us? Come on man. You can’t be this dense. Lastly, we have every right to send anyone including the president to countries we do tremendous trade with. It was a statement of support for democracy and defense. Nothing has changed in that regard. We didn’t engage China. We didn’t say Taiwan is not a part of China. We have seen how meek and weak work out. Not so well. And we have done absolutely nothing to instigate WW3. I just…wow.

And we have done absolutely nothing to instigate WW3. I just…wow. I’m sure you are “just wow[ing]” over there Fish. I don’t doubt for one second that you cannot comprehend what I have shared on the matter, illustrated by your “but history2b and Samadams on a Laker forum say…” That’s a very typical cop out move made by cowards who have no legitimate response. No Fanofish, it’s YOU who knows all about the real world and the clowns who post on the Laker forum are just that. Fucking delusional twat. Your entire rationalization reads like a State Department press release, lol. I wonder why. And did I “inject myself” into this “debate” by responding directly to you? You accurately pointed out I have many posts in this thread, something I continued by responding to you, so how is that “injecting” myself into the “debate?” Are you really this clueless? Please I am directly challenging you point out any and all “propaganda” I’ve shared here. I know you are prone to seeing other people post big words and feel an obligation to use them back without actually understanding their meaning so it would be becoming of you to actually back your your hot air with a clear understanding of what you’re talking about. As far as the subject of Pelosi / China goes, I brought it up, not Sam, so if I want to say anything about it I will. I don’t need your permission to join your imaginary debate of calling Sam an idiot to say what I want. Regarding Pelosi, it has nothing to do with “liking” or “disliking” someone, I don’t maintain infantile ideological emotions regarding politics, politicians. If an elected representative in the country I live in does or says something that is counter productive to collective human safety I will say so out of principle, not juvenile emotion. Tough concept for some people to understand, yes, but assuredly true. Regarding your US State Department lip service that “other senators have visited Taiwan so Pelosi shouldn’t matter” isn’t a fact, it’s an opinion. Who gets to decide whether it matters? You? fanofish from a Laker board!!? Or US military personnel? Or is it Republicrat war hawks who go around squawking fire fire fire every chance they get? Whether you understand it or not China does get to decide what the move by Pelosi means and they won’t be reaching out to you to ask if you, Fanofish, think Lindsey Graham visiting is the same thing. I’m glad you “know” WW3 won’t start because of us. I feel so much more reassured about the world now! Fanofish from the Laker Showtime Forum said so! Lol, delusional. China does own a fair amount of US debt, nothing I wasn’t already aware of but similarly I’m also well aware of China’s economic relationship with the US. Why you think this means the US and China aren’t at risk of war is pretty comical considering your overall posture here as some kind of more informed sage on geopolitical situations, economics and history. Like I accurately pointed out in my last response you were just emotionally triggered by what both myself and Sam had to say about Pelosi. You aren’t a participant in this thread, you’re a stalker. You just couldn’t take it and had to come and post your pissy pants bitchfest about how Pelosi can do whatever she wants, diplomacy is an irrelevant concept, etc etc. Literally the stupidest thing you’ve ever posted on this forum and yes I’m including your assessments of Shabazz Napier and Jabari Parker. Like I said , like Iraq? Back to crickets, bitch.

While Trump deserves the heavy hand of the law for any and all his wrongdoings, unfortunately the effect on the country long term will be very negative imo. The two sides are already so polarized and there's no bottom. It'll be tit for tat with every election depending on which party is in control. www.huffpost.com/entry/republicans-trump-fbi-raid_n_62f1b7a2e4b0ee32ad75c11dRepublicans Promise Retaliation Against Justice Department Over Trump Raid Any investigation of Donald Trump must be politically motivated, according to congressional Republicans.
