Most pathetic defense and coaching of the season by far. that's basically it. Dallas did the same thing offensively over and over and over and Ham stood there like a moron and let it happen. left Williams and Exum wide open in the corner several times and they hit about 12 3's combined. I forgot that the Mavs are also without Kyrie and more on the second night of a back to back. just pathetic

Pretty much expected tonight especially with Vando not playing. The mavs could be on a back to back to back to back and still give us a good run without Vando on Luka. Lakers basically just doubled him most of the night, left Exum wiiiide open and he hit like 7 threes on us. Hardaway Jr hit ones that were a little more contested. And whenever Luka wasn't doubled he pretty much scored.

Spurs tomorrow and Spurs again on Friday. Spurs have lost like 17 games in a row but there's hardly ever an easy game anymore. Spurs are desperate. Gonna have to bring it!

Hate losing any game but I’m not bothered by this loss.
Mavs had their top 5 game of the season shooting the 3. Exum the NBA career game of his life and Grant also had a near career shooting night.
In a 7 game series these guy ain’t shit.

Hardaway made chucks. Williams and Exum were wide open in the corner the entire fucking game. zero adjustment was made. Mavs didn't even have Kyrie and were on a back to back. once those guys make like 3 or 4 of them, the adjustment should be made to not leave them.

There is a trade off to the “let’s not shoot 3s let’s pound the paint” philosophy. This is it; they hit more and they continued to hit them when it got tight.

Casual extraordinaire in da house!! Just saw a video of AD getting some shots up pregame. Back to back with a bit of a nagging injury... one would think he sits tonight but something tells me he plays. He kept talking about wanting to play 82 (he's already sat one game so that aint happening) so I imagine he'll want to get as close to that # as possible even though just 70 reg season games would be nice.

I thought AD played exceptionally well against the Mavs despite the loss. At times he looked like he was lagging but he was assertive and played with intent the whole game through. That was a positive I took away from the loss; AD was sustaining elevated level of play. Him doing so is the key to the entire season so I’m tracking it closely and critically.
If he sits tonight I wouldn’t mind, although I’d rather see how he and Wemby match up, he’s earned the right to take a night off. We play them again in a couple days anyway.
The magic number is 65. That’s how many games wants / needs to play. More than a quarter way though he’s doing well to meet that.

He is playing through it but it wouldn't surprise me if he missed games after tonight

Yeah I would assume he will sit tonight. I'll take him sitting just tonight. He will always be inconsistent either on play or injuries. Flashes of brilliance followed by duds
