19-21
With the same record as 1 year ago when the sky was falling with Russell Westbrook. And that was with AD missing a long extended chunk of the season to that point.
So who still thinks Westbrook was the problem that once gone everything is better?
Westbrook ironically fit Darvin Ham’s vision for offense better than what we have now. He was a pace pusher and since Darvin has zero pedigree at designing an elite half court offense, he’s largely dependent on his team getting out and forcing points in transition. Last season post Westbrook trade we continued to do so by generating turnovers with Vando doing a lot of that damage.
This season, by all measures is now a massive failure and you can bet your ass there will be a huge trade involving at least 3 current players. The roster does need some tweaking but the sideline needs one more than anything else. The players will take the fall this time in order to save an incompetent coach yet again.

No improvement at all despite the so called huge fit issues with Russell.

No improvement at all despite the so called huge fit issues with Russell. This team is so much better with a healthy Vando, at that hasn't been the case often enough in the first half. Plus they lost their alternate playmaker by replacing Schroder with an almost constantly injured Vincent. The backcourt options have been largely one dimensional (either offensively or defensively deficient) and Ham hasn't managed his lineups/rotations well (and the injuries have further complicated that). The good news has been AD's and LBJ's relative health. Everything else has been a bit of a mess.
