close game. just huge let down all over the place defensively. Prince, D'lo, Reaves, you name it, effort on that end is not there at all

Ham makes zero adjustments to change when games go south. Zero impact on the game. Embarrassing

nice how the offense was so great for the first 18 minutes or so then abandoned every single thing they were doing right.

this is another game Ham shouldn't survive but will because we beat OKC and the Clippers and Dallas.

I hope this team loses every game.
Staying .500 just prolongs the agony.

68-44 second half. I can't get over the 3rd quarter where Ham stood there like a moron, made literally zero adjustments and let the game get out of hand

Watching post game and Big Game James is saying he just doesn't know what it is. Felt like he wanted to say it, but did not want to call out Ham.

He’s not a bad player and he’s on a decent contract. Teams want his skill. We’re dumb to underutilize it. Lakers will look to trade Vincent first imo, effectively admiring they fucked up in FA and will learn right away no one will want him. If they can package him with Rui to get someone they want they will and will consider it a win. Fat chance imo. Players that will be shopped: DLo Rui Vincent Hood Schifino Christie Cam

The problem with DLo (aside from the obvious defensive deficiencies) is that he’s semi inconsistent. He’ll have 2-3 really good games then a stinker or 2. Last year we subverted that with Dennis Schroder who is very similar but coach could ping between them and get what we needed. Not having that 2nd playmaker really hurt this team. The expectation was Austin would become that but he’s been inconsistent too. I’d like to see him go back to more off the ball and get another playmaker to drive the offense for chunks of the game.

Austin and Vincent for that matter. A buyout acquisition of Lowry would make a lot of sense (if this isn't corrected by the trade deadline, but he could go to a team with better playoff opportunities (just not a 1st or 2nd apron team).

Players that will be shopped: DLo Rui Vincent Hood Schifino Christie Cam It's tough to get enough minutes for Rui AND fully utilize Vando. Vando's injury certainly opens up more opportunity for Rui, but the Lakers could potentially get two pieces in return for Rui's contract, so he's definitely available. I think Prince should be on that list as well, as the targets for Rui's contract could very usurp Prince's role (and he's likely getting better money this summer). The one that would hurt the most for me is Christie, hope they find a way to get what they are targeting without losing him.
