Hats off to DLo. Elite play from a guy hitting his highest gear of his career. We needed every play.
Shout out Rui and Spencer Dinwiddie for that block on Dame in the clutch.

Also the low key play of the game was Austin’s steal and score on Giannis at the end of the 3rd that came immediately after a DLo 3 which took a 1 point lead to 6 at halftime. We needed every single point tonight without that killer play by AR, we lose. The shot he made to avoid Bobby Portis and Giannis was not easy.

DLo cooking Lillard and Beasley all night was definitely fun. Those guys are sieves on defense. Doc Rivers was beside himself. Loved every minute of it but I want to see DLo make an impact like this against Denver. Not necessarily 44 on their heads but he needs somewhat of a statement game if he sees them again imo.
Also huge was AD sinking 2 FTs with a dead arm. He soldiered thru it and played some important defensive moments thru it too. Didn't hang his head.
Pretty sure this was the first time in loooong time that Ham decided it was time to go with big lineups at times as well. Even had some good timeouts and subs late. I'll take it.

I didnt realize/recall that Nick made so many attempts. Checked and Meeks was at 161, and 40%, in 14. Chucky Atikins yikes. DLo looking like Steph out there lately.

Yeah Kobe was close in the era of low volume 3pt attempts and that wasn't even his bread and butter. Nutty

Remember his 12 3s in one game that was the record for a long time? I really wanted him to do the 3 pt shooting contest at least once lol.

Yes like 20 years ago too, long before it was fashionable to shoot 3’s. He paved the way for Steph Curry by utilizing the shot as a weapon, not treating it like the last resort shot the entire league treated it as for 5 decades. It’s the reason I give him the edge over Mike.
