Reportedly the players whose agent was speaking on their behalf of not wanting to play with Kobe were Kyle Korver and Spencer Hawes I was just thinking that: who the hell are these players? Lol what a joke. Sounds like Kyle Korver was scared of actually having to work hard and chose Atlanta to continue his 3point chucking with shit defense Hawks fans are used to

Big picture though: Kobe labeled ESPN as a bunch of idiots and the network decided to respond with this steaming pile of crap that Abbot had reportedly been sitting on the pot conjuring up for almost a year now

Reportedly the players whose agent was speaking on their behalf of not wanting to play with Kobe were Kyle Korver and Spencer Hawes Meanwhile CP3 was furious and looked into legal options following the veto of his trade to LAL.

Man this guy was on Colin this morning talking about his article. Even his voice was bitch made, lol, Herd had to tell him to please speak in the mic because he was so light. If you believe all the shit you are saying, be bold and speak up, don't bitch up. Hard to take Abbott serious.

I read this earlier. Very tellimg What exactly is very telling? And what is it telling you? Pretty obvious what it's telling. And I'm pretty sure it told me the same thing it told you. All the fanboys are up in arms about this article. Sorry fellas. The truth hurts. Hey, here's another one...that's not from the purported hack Abbott: deadspin.com/anonymous-nba-agents-nobody-wants-to-play-with-kobe-br-16487252911) In 2004, Bryant was a free agent and threatened to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers before Shaq was traded to the Miami Heat. Jackson preferred Shaq to Kobe and wasn’t happy with the trade, which led to even more organizational tension. 2) The honeymoon for Bryant and Howard came to a quick end with a report in the New York Daily News that Howard had to be restrained from going after Bryant after the two engaged in a heated exchange following the Lakers' New Year's Day loss to the 76ers. The altercation between the two reportedly included Bryant's mentioning Shaquille O'Neal's critiques of Howard as a soft player. Howard has complained to the media about the Lakers' lack of chemistry, a criticism possibly targeted at Bryant. 3) Ramon Sessions was flourishing with Kobe being out and the ball in his hands. Breaking defenses down and was a double-double machine. Kobe comes back and immediately has Mike B change to the Princeton offense effectively rendering Sessions useless. That worked out fantastically. 4) THE CONTRACT. That nets Kobe as much as Tony Parker, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili combined makes it virtually impossible to compete. Comments like "why should he pass up the $?" are absurd. Answer - if he wanted to win he wouldn't have allowed little Jimmy to screw up the Lakers chances of competing for a championship before he retires. 5) Bynum - "Ship his [rear end] out. We're talking Jason Kidd," said Bryant. "They didn't want to do that. That's why we're in this [messed up] position." 6) It's too late, I'm gone - Bryant is approached with the query, "Please tell us you're staying!" His response: "Get a [Chicago] Bulls uniform fellas." And yes, Dwight did give up many guaranteed millions even with the state tax savings.

And yes, Dwight did give up many guaranteed millions even with the state tax savings. The point isn't whether or not he gave up any money. The point is that when Lakers fans said "Dwight won't leave, he gets 30 million extra to stay!" Abbot and others replied "no he doesn't, state taxes and the extra year eventually being paid make the number much less than 30 million" Now he is using the exact opposite argument - the one he originally opposed- because it fits his narrative better today. The actual argument is irrelevant. It's the author's disingenuous switching of sides that is the issue.

But again that wasn't in the article. 3) Deer in the headlights Ramon Sessions? Yeah he was going to lead that team. More revisionist history and wasn't in the article. 4) Wasn't in the article. Abbott insinuated Lakers paid him all that money only because they knew they couldn't get anybody else with it. 5) Wasn't in the article but bringing up Bynum the way he did was a joke. 6) Not in article.

Stern is a bitch puppet who did the dirty work for certain owners. They thought the new CBA would be enough of a death knell but the CP3 trade showed that the CBA wasn't quite enough with our trade chips at that point. They had to steer that trade into an iceberg to really accomplish their goal.

The funny thing about the CP3 trade is that originally the general consensus was that NOLA got the better deal with the Clippers trade, but it never should have come to that and the Lakers' trade should have been processed. With the benefit of even more hindsight now maybe that's not the case. Aminu turned in to nothing, Gordon is overpaid/hurt, Austin Rivers a bust, Kaman filler. On the other hand, Scola, Odom and Martin each were subsequently key parts in deals that returned valuable assets and Dragic has flourished, plus the Knicks pick in the 2012 draft (granted it was used on terribad Royce White.)
The one key thing getting so bad so quick allowed them to do was to get Davis in the draft, but that was a completely unintended consequence. If the league was actually concerned about the Hornets' resale value like they said they were when speaking out against Paul to LAL they wouldn't have encouraged tanking.

Shaq: “It was a money situation, I was getting older,” he continued. “They wanted me to take less money. I wasn’t going to do that, so they traded me to Miami.” On his relationship with Kobe on the court: “We didn’t have a bad relationship, because we won three out of four championships,” O’Neal said. “That’s not a bad relationship at all.”
