Here's my periodic bump of this thread again......
Now this president is saying that Andrew Jackson would of prevented the Civil War from happening because he was a "tough" president with a "big heart".
Man, the collective IQ of this country took a hit when this guy came into office and by the time his time is up, I think we will be the dumbest nation on earth.
This 100 days have felt like 100 months.
The fact that there are millions of chimp brained minions is proof positive we live in the stupidest country on earth. Maybe in history of human civilization. Well 2b, France certainly proving your theory correct thus far. They just rejected Marine Le Pen their "Donald Trump" candidate in their election today.

A friend in Paris texted me about it last night which was decent to hear amid the climate of change around the world. And it was a landslide victory to boot.

Trump is just an idiot puppet for the most part; Le Pen is the daughter of the man who basically WAS the National Front, a borderline white supremacist far-right party.

Perhaps, but still the same to me. "Idiot puppet" who supported her and said she would be a good leader is just as bad to me.......and just as dangerous.

It was a landslide in France. About 60% plus over Le Pen.
Say what you will about the French, but they know an idiot when they see one.
Us on the other hand.......

The great unwashed were far too eager to return to racism, homophobia, etc after 8 years of Obama and everyone else took the election for granted. For all of the human rights advances made in the past decade or so, we were due to take a step back. Unfortunately, this step back led to falling down the stairs...

Trump is far worse and far more dangerous than Le Pen for the simple fact he's in charge of a far more powerful country.

www.cnn.com/2017/06/13/politics/golden-state-warriors-white-house-and-it-shouldnt-be-a-surprise/index.html"I don't care what side of the political spectrum you're on," Kerr said. "People vote for all kinds of reasons, right? You vote for your pocket book. You vote for abortion rights or gay marriage or you vote for certain social policies or maybe foreign policy. Maybe you're worried about this or that. And that's what it should be about. You should vote based on policy. But this election had nothing to do with policy. It had to do with hatred and fear and we had a candidate who stirred that up, and I thought it was a horrible precedent for our country."
Kerr nails it right here and I for one hope the Warriors skip that visit to the White House. Kudos to Popovich and Kerr.

It would be good, but I don't see all members of the team rejecting the visit, but I think it would send a strong message if the most vocal and leaders of the team didn't go to the White House.

I've gained a lot of respect for Pop over the years... and still continue to. Personally, I was a bit disappointed in the results (although, I refused to vote for either of the two popular candidates myself, so I probably would have been disappointed either way), but I also don't want to cast a negative light on "all" of the people who voted for him (about 30% which were Latino, and 50% which were women, I believe). The majority of these people (Trump voters, I mean) were silent during his campaign because they were afraid of being labeled racists or xenophobic themselves... Ultimately, I think those quick-to-label and attack methods pushed them into the shadows, but also made them more likely to voice their opinions at the ballot box (compared to the other side, which was overly-confident and complacent at the end of the day). That's just my assessment on how a guy like Donald could pick up so much momentum, seemingly out of nowhere, and why the outcome was so "shocking" to millions. If you are Latino and voted for Trump, I have to question your sanity.
